Dr. Yaritza E Serrano-Laureano (Dr. Serrano), grew up in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, and knew at a very young age that she wanted to be a Veterinarian. She completed undergraduate studies at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez campus, before moving to Louisiana for veterinary school. She graduated from Louisiana State University, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. After graduating, she moved to Florida and started working in small animal practice, focusing on pet wellness and preventive care.  

When not at work, Dr. Serrano loves spending time with her husband and son, and their 3 dogs.  She also enjoys running, skating and salsa dancing.

Jacquee grew up on a farm and lived there up until the age of 23, so she has quite a bit of experience with all animal sizes. She realized at a young age that she wanted to pursue a career with animals and especially, dogs. With 6 years of dog care experience, she joined Pet Paradise in 2019 and quickly learned she wanted to grow with the company and her skills. Passionate to bring a level of care and security to her clients, she moved up into the supervisor position at Orlando, then transferred to Winter Garden in 2021 to further develop her career, and is now happy to call Lake Buena Vista home. On her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym, going to parks and nature walks, and traveling to new places and learning different cultures. Jacquee has one dog named Luna. She is a seven-pound shih-poo that loves some human cuddles.

Samantha has always felt a strong connection with animals. Their innocence, loyalty, and unconditional love have captivated her heart. This passion led her to adopt two incredible dogs, Gnocchi and Brooklyn. Both are rescues. 

Professionally, She has spent the past seven years honing her skills in retail management with SeaWorld Parks. She is also an Automated Photographer in her spare time, spending her weekends off working at car shows and drift events. 

Samantha is excited to welcome your pets to the resort with open arms and a smile.

Kyle grew up in Northern New York and always had a passion for dogs.  When he moved to the area he found pet paradise, became a playtime coordinator, and moved his way up over the past 2 years. He has a trio of female pups named Lucy, Artemis, and Nixie. The girls love Pet Paradise as much as him. Lucy will meet your pups in the pool while Kyle greets you at the door.

My dogs Benny and Shelton inspired me to a pursue a career in the animal care industry. I loved them so much and I wanted to care for other people's pets while they were away, so they didn't have to worry about their safety. I have been working with dogs since 2010 and started as kennel tech. I was a manager at a boarding facility until 2022 when I came over to pet paradise in 2023. I started out as an assistant manager but have now transitioned into the dog trainer position. I loved going through certification and learning even more about dogs and their behaviors. I have a heart to help others and being a trainer helps me to ensure that owners and pets are living a more peaceful and happy life together. I look forward to helping you and your pet!

Originally from North Carolina,  April has spent most of her life in Orlando, FL. After a long career in Culinary Arts, she decided to pursue her true passion of working with animals. Becoming a dog groomer with PetSmart developed her skills and then went on to be a cat groomer as well. April enjoys spending time with all of fur nieces and nephews, cooking, spending time outdoors, and driving her Jeep.
